Kerman Province Gas Company has officially started its activity since 1996 as the sixth region of supplying and selling gas and has continued to develop the supplying of gas and to give services to its subscribers in Kerman and Hormozgan provinces since 2001.
Independ ent area for supplying natural gas in Kerman is Sarkhoun Region located in north of Bandar Abbas; the refined gas in Geshm and Sarkhoun refinery, with nominal production capacity of 14 million cube meters a day, is delivered to domestic, industrial, commercial users and power plants of Kerman through 756 km of high tension transmission lines.
